What can I use a Galaxy Tab 3 for?

OK chaps, there are some fairly comprehensive replies on there, especially Stevo, however, I can't see me even using 10% of your suggestions. But I will be using t'internet and, initially at least, store photos and download/upload music and videos.

So, a question: I use Google Chrome as a browser but Yahoo for e-mail and comment although not post on YouTube. If I want to create a Google account I need to register or sign in. As I already have a Google name and password for YouTube, can I use that for the Google account or do I need another one?

When I've downloaded music from CDs onto the laptop and from there to a MP3 player I can use a disc and then a USB cable to the little Sony. Any idea how I can do this with the Tab3? I'm not sure if I can load from the laptop to the Samsung as Mrs. Beard has put i-Tunes on it and I'd have to uninstall it in order to use a CD...........or do I?

You can use that.

In the settings there is an option for google accounts, log in there.

Use something like ES file explorer app to browse to the files then it will prompt you to open them in your music player.
If you cannot access a drive through USB then try stickmount to enable it.

BTW, mine has been used for satnav and calculator, email and web browsing, comms with America and watching porn since the above post
