Hi.
I have just joined, so hello to you all.

I have just bought a Bravo 1.2 SX for my son as his first car, and am giving it a complete overhaul (being a auto engineer now retired).

Now for my question.

I have been given different advice from different sources as to using Red - Blue - Green antifreeze, i.e. "Only use Green a/freeze"
"You can use Blue, Red or Green a/freeze" etc.

Can anyone tell me what is the correct antifreeze to use for this car.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards.

Hello and welcome.

This is the one you need... LINK Doesn't have to be the one fiat recommend aslong as the specifications are the same.

PARAFLU"

Protective ethylene glycol based antifreeze compound CUNA NC 956-16.

Its usually blue but when i recently bought PARAFLU" it was green. Using the wrong stuff can lead to corrosion of the radiator and/or heater matrix, fouling and death of the water pump etc. Its something to do with the rust inhibitors or something. .
