My brother in law has died & left in his garage his 1996 punto. its dark grey, done 6000miles & full service history until he sorned it about 4 years ago. I know its worth more that the £50 that we buy any car quoted but it seems a shame to scrap it as its unmarked & generally in fine condition. We could probably get it started but even my sister laws mechanic was sniffy about it.

What do u out there think

As others have mentioned, really depends on the condition. If the mechanic has sniffed at it, why?

If its a GT they are starting to increase in value but only if they are in good order.

Where are you based?

Last few (non GT) 96-98 Puntos on ebay SOLD for between £75 and £300 so more than the zero from WBAC (the £50 offer is typically subject to a £50 admin fee). Where are you located? Maybe a Forum member could come and have a look.

For example a gts are selling from anywhere from 1000-3500 depending of condition ect

And I’ve recently paid £625 for my sporting with quite a few abarth extras that’s why it’s really important to know what spec it is as the prices for mk1 are all over the place

Take it to a steam rally/classic car show as they are full of car fans that might fancy it. Try it on the forum or e bay. At least the forum is free and full of Fiat enthusiasts ,you could just ask for offers.
