General wet bum

Hi I've got a sun roof in my marea, and I'm sure that there is a leak into the ceiling area on the driver's side...

there is a damp patch too above my head next to the sun visor...

However... if I park with the driver's side on the kerb, ie so the roof slopes to the passenger side... no leak but if I park the other way round, so the roof slopes to the driver's side... wet bum again! I put a plastic bag on the seat the other night and emptied about half a pint of water out the next morning!

I'm guessing that there are some drainage holes in the ceiling area and that the driver's side is blocked - hence the drip

Anyone know how I might fix the problem, preferably without having to take the inside of the car apart first?

tbh afaik there isnt anything you can do without taking the the roof lining out - i had the same problem with my bravo, i took the lining out, and sat in the car while someone poured water over the sun roof, found where the leak was coming from and my boss/friend took my sunroof unit out and noticed paer if the drain channels had coroded so he used a metal bondant and built up the channels, replaced the seal and we put the car back together. tested it and it still leak - we then rubbed the seal with fairy and it was fine after nothing since

my bravo appears to leak in the same place, just above the sunvisor on the driver side, in very heavy rain it will appear on the passenger side and then run down the inside of the windscreen

i have checked the sunroof drains and they're definately not blocked

if you could explain wot fairy is and were u put it i would be very grateful

Fairy liquid dude... for hands that do dishes...

fairy liquid - just rub it around the seal of the sunroof

check the metal bead that holds the seal onto the glass. this is probably rusted and theerfore pushin the seal out of shape. if this is the case then get a new peice of glass from a scrappie for about £20. dont go to fiat fo it as the book price for the new glass is £280!!!!!
