itch !!!!!!

After all the grief and help from everyone who tried to, the damn engine management warning light went out on its own.

The problem?? Who knows??

The cure? Putting the wheels back on, dropping it off the axle stands and driving it round the block. I have no idea why the light went out but the car drove brilliantly and pulled like a train so whatever the problem was its fixed itself.

Thanks very much to all those folks who tried to help me on more than one occaision. This is a top forum with top subscribers for top cars !!!!

Hi,

you should get the ECU checked for error codes, the light most likely went out because it has had 3 subsequent good runs - the code will still be stored.

It had about 6 cycles after the light came on but it didn't go out when it got hot, it went out as soon as i turned the corner out of my road. I'll get the OBD2 on it as soon as Mr Postman turns up with it.
