Welding kit hire?

Does anyone know where i can hire a welding kit from, cheaply. I know that HSS & Dixon Hall are wanting stupid money for a couple of hours hire.

or has one that i can hire from them personally

i have a gasless mig but i'm up in newcastle

you'd be better off going to a local garage and bunging them a few quid to do it, its what i done before i got my own

Best solution found;

ask around all your friends to see if they know anyone has one. been given one for the sum of £10 for the definite future. owner might need it in the future but said i can have it till then.

let the fabricating begin :devil:
