General Weird Noise

Hey guys n gals

Well, i got me 999cc yer, n in the morning when i start it from cold, when u get to high revs in gear 1, 2, 3 u get that horrid noise, sounds slightly electronic. Anyway this morning it was rele rele bad, and it was makin that noice in 5th gear at 40, but then did gradually go, what is it?!! really, didnt sound good at all!

Firstly, let the car warm up properly before driving it hard. Even if it means waiting a bit before setting off, or driving really slow for the first mile or so.

Sounds like it good be your gearbox oil. Currently, I think, it may be the moving bits inside grinding as the oil is still cold. Then it goes away as it all warms up. It's very easy to change/renew - get it done. Oil is cheap, but a new gearbox is not.
