Technical weird noise when turning??

i ahve a punto mk2 when i turn either left or right the car seems to make this harsh rbiing sound almost as if theres something metal grinding away ne suggestions?

That is most likely the homocinetic joint... Common fault due to holes in the road or often hard full lock turns... Have the same and this has FIAT's explanation... Hope it helps...
