Discovered that my clutch was making a strange noise when the pedal is released, sounds like it could just be the pedal as im not sure if it can be heard outside of the car. Now it still engages all the gears without a hint of crunching and the bite point is the same. I have done a video to show the sound it makes.

Havent heard such noise on a car before.
Could be the axle passing trough the housing?
If it sticks, I can imagine it could engage the clutch in steps, not smoothly.
And if it is sticking, the thrust bearing could be riding all the time.
But you should be able to feel it on the pedal, so I am not completely sure on this, the cable operated ones Ive used have been lightweigth without much feeling.
If engine revs do not affect it, its propably something on the linkages.
As it can be heard even when there is pressure on the bearing, I dont think its the bearing or clutch itself.

Spray some oil on the saft on top of the gearbox?

It also only does it when everything is up to temperature. As i said it doesn't affect the running of the car at all.

Might have a nose around later but I think i will take it to a Alfa/fiat specialists near where i work.

Clutch feels exactly the same as it did before it made the noise, and also slight vibrations.

But as I said it doesnt when its cold, only when everything is warm does it start, it also hasnt got any worse this week.

Might just go for a clutch change anyway, it does bite pretty high and not much range of bite, if that makes sense?
