Tuning Webasto sunroof

Hi from spain

I´ve just bought a 2005 Multipla 115 JTD. I want to install a sunroof.


Has anybody installed a non-original sunroof?

I also wanted to fit a sunroof to my last Multi. I took it to a reputable fitter who looked it up on a list he had to work out the correct size - but sadly, his list showed that the standard Multi was unsuitable for a sunroof as the roof panel would be too weak if pierced.

If you look at a non-sunroof Multi beside a FIAT fitted twin sunroof Multi, you can see that they have completely different roof panels.

I looked at this when I bought Myrtle. The old uglybug ELX had those splendid twin sunnys for summer days, but they were no longer fitted by the time Myrtle (a 2008 Eleganza) was born.

I am sure I found a sunroof manufacturer online that specified a rather splendid electric glass sunroof for the Eleganza.

I'll have a poke about online, see what I can find.

http://sunroof.webasto.co.uk/ go to 'configurator' in left dropdown menu and look for your year of Multipla. They do one for mine, it seems. (I suspect this site is where you got your graphics in your original post from.)
