General Weather strip window seal

The weather strip on the driver's side rear door has come away from our panda, not once but twice.

We replaced it the first time it happened, but then we noticed it had gone again!!

It's really annoying, as it means until we can get a new one, water and debris can get into the inside of the door!!

The cheapest we can seem to find them is £20 but if it's going to keep happening then the cost will start mounting up!

Has anyone had this happen before? If so is there anything we can do to keep the water out in the meantime?

not once in the 8 years of ownership.. do you use Mechanical car washes..??,

Occasionally we do yes. It was loose ever since an accident in which someone went into the side of us.

BUT that's the 2ND one - if I read that correctly - it MUST be a door skin damage issue surely??,

Yes it is the second one... Would door skin damage be expensive/difficult to repair?
