Technical Water trap

Hi everyone,
On my Marea 110 JTD the water trap light on the dash comes on every now and then, but only for a second or so.
On Friday it's going in for a service to an independant garage.
Now, I'm a petrol head and know nothing about diesels (yet!)...

Obviously, I will tell the guy about the light - but what I want to know is....

Where is the water trap, and how is it emptied/changed?

On the bottom of the fuel filter. You drain it by unscreing it slightly until diesel flows out instead of water. The fuel filter is the tall cylinder at the back of the engine with a black collar around the top of it.
