HI all I just joined the forum today. I have had about 3 Fiats so far since 1999. I had a Seicento and two Grande Puntos 2006 & 2008. Just on my second Grande Punto at the moment.
My Grande Punto is due to get its timing belt changed. My brother who is a mechanic will do the work for me.
At the moment I am gathering the parts for the job. I went to my local motor factors and was told that there are two different water pumps for the 2008 models.
Just wondering what is the right one for the model I have. Its a 8v Active 1.2 petrol engine.
I have asked Fiat and the told me to go to my local dealer. But my local dealer quoted me €200 for the job. Im trying to cut down costs.
I am hoping that someone with expert knowledge on here could help me with my query.
