Every time we have heavy rain over here the electrics go and get into the fuse box any easy fix’s or how would I deal with it

This is quite common with GPs and has been covered extensively on this forum. A quick search should produce a number of hits. Typically water gets in via the wheel arch or underneath if engine undertrays are missing.

Remove the fuse box and dry it out on a radiator. If it's very wet then consider drying each relay and fuse with a hairdryer whilst the fusebox itself is sat on the radiator. Make a note of the plugs' position before removing!

Before refitting, cover the underside to protect the fusebox. I have some clingfilm wrapped underneath mine. When refitting ensure that the lid is dry and securely locked in place.

Yes, GP/2012/EVO is prone to water damage in electrical system and suspension. By (stupid, italian) design.

1. You must keep the drains clean. Two drains, below the windshield/wipers. Also, if you have old short one over the alternator it will flood it. There is new longer drain, that redirects the flow to the side (not straight on the alternator).

Comparison (wrong and new, long improved drain).

Long drain installed (left hand drive car). Which side you point it - doesn't matter much.

2. Fender/wing, that plastic arch liner inside has stupid windows, flaps, useless. Glue/seal them completely.

3. Engine covers may help, especially to stop puddle water splashing on the alternator.

4. Fuse box can be flooded not only by improper sealing (it's not closed properly, cover not seated), but also via wiring, that thick plastic pipe/shield coming from wipers mechanism area. Rain water is dripping there, on the exposed wires!

By the way, the fuse box should be periodically cleaned and protected against corrosion - just blow it with compressed air and spray a lot of WD-40 or similar stuff, soak everything well. Twice a year or so.

Exposed wires...

Example solution. Someone tried to cover it, piece of rubber (green arrow). Also the "hose" (cables shield) is lifted somehow (red arrow).

Plastic/rubber sheet cover is enough (if installed properly - just don't make it worst by collecting and redirecting the water wrong way).
Don't move, wiggle around that cables plastic shield/hose (too much work).
