well i've had my punto on the road for a week or so now after chucking a new engine in and doing all the usual stuff like checking oil and water i have noticed its using coolant (head gasket) i hear you say? well when i start the car from cold i can here water sloshing about behind the dash? is this air in the system around the heater matrix and will it go away? if not how do i bleed the system?

any help much aprechiated! (y)

rob.

is usually a sign of air. My guess would be that the system needs bleeding. Im no expert on the punto but the heater matrix located behind the dash is usually the highest point of the system and so air gets trapped here. There will probably be a bleed srew on one of the pipes entering the bulk head.
