Water marks on driver seat

Hi everyone

Got a drop of the screen wash on my seat which left a stain so I decided to damp it with a wet cloth thinking it would go... It is now an even bigger water mark!
Any tips for getting these off??

I suspect it's probably best "flushed" with a vax type machine..,

although a dry shampoo may be a good easy 1st step.


do let us know what you find does the trick

Fiat seats are a pain in the b** for this. A damp sponge across the whole seat will sort it. I now have mine treated with car upholstery cleaner including scotch-guard that also removes the stain. I have not seen yet if it prevents water marks re-appearing though.

After a few weeks its better but marks still appear. I think three coats of scotch guard would probably solve the problem and will try again in the spring

I had removed water marks completely but only by washing the whole seat with a sprinkler and then drying a dehumidifier.
