Hi guys,

After prompting from me, my wee brother bought a 1.9 JTS Stilo, been running nicely barring the obvious airbag light, which is periodically fixed by contact cleaner spray.

Recently a warning light has gone on and an interested friend said he thought it was water in the air filter. Could this be the case, is it serious/expensive? Obviously the filter would be easy enough to replace, the issue would be how it got there!

Any ideas?

There is a warning light for water in the fuel filter, not the air filter.

The sensor that controls the light is screwed into the bottom of the fuel filter and can be loosened to drain out the water. It's normal for a diesel vehicle.

Dave.
