I have also ordered the new parts today, but not from Saito Italy.
Do you mind sharing your source of the new parts. It might be helpful in the future.
Was it a difficult operation?

Wouldn't it have been cheaper to buy a new one?The hole turbo revision costed all-in, € 860,- (About £ 737,-)
Nope, new one is more expensive.Wouldn't it have been cheaper to buy a new one?
Hi,Interesting. Mine seems to go into what feels like Eco mode when the engine works a little too hard. I get the start/stop warning and the engine light comes on. Eventually it sorts itself and the lights go out, so I've lived with it for a while (including a change of plugs).
Just felt the actuator arm and there's play in it, so I've probably got this turbo illness. Can't be bothered to take the top off to have a closer look today as it's raining - and I did the oil and filters yesterday so I've had enough Panda guts for this weekend (wish I'd read this thread earlier). I'll get in there later in the week and have a closer look. Be nice if the play is only from the end of the arm making itself a bigger hole, but I'm having one of those weeks, so probably not.
Thanks for the info.
Like yourself I tried to see if there was adjustment on the wastegate and when discovered there was none put some copper grease on the 'bearing' before closing up which solved the problem for a day or two and confirmed it was shot. I got a refurb replacement from Poland for around €300 and fitted it myself (car off road while exchange taking place) - Fitting was fiddly but not a big challenge and done about 15k kms since with no issuesHi,
i have exectly the same error on mei Fiat 500 twinair. A few days ago i tried to adjust the wastegate and for a few days everything went very well, but now the engine light came back. What did you do to fix the problem? I found a few people with the same problem, but none of them shared their solution. Hopefully no new turbo is needed!
Thanks!
