 Hope someone has had the same problem and can help before I dismantle the front wheel arch. Rear washer works no problem sprays water wipes etc.But the front washer sprays no water at all. Can Hear the washer pump whirring away. The wipers move washer bottle full so is a blockage poss or kinked hose or something more common? The water is not dripping out the bottom so i think i can discount split hose any help anyone??? Ps 54 plate 20jtd

Have you checked the nozzles for blockage, use a needle to check holes, also u should see water in the pipe under the bonnet going to the wipers, other than that u have somehow kinked the pipe somewhere, so means tracing it till you find it, as if you hear pump working theres nothing wrong on that side, hope this helps

 took the pipe off under the bonnet i can hear the washer pump humming away when pull on the stalk but no water comming up the pipe. Blown down the pipe but there must be a "y" piece joint on the washer hose hiding some were under the hood as the air blows out the other wiper jet! Have not done any work in the engine bay etc for ages (maybe its just my fiat feeling lonely) they just suddenly stopped working!!

If a pipe was loose the chances are that you would see water dripping down under the vehicle. you can get at the water bottle reasonably easily (pre 200 Uly) without taking the wheel arch liners off as there is a small flat plastic panel just forward of the front wheel, it's held on by two or three self tappers. I Think you will find that taking this panel off will reveal the bottom of the water container. You can then either twist off the water pipe outlets, or remove the whole tank for a cleaning in the kitchen sink. This is not a bad idea as you sometimes get a right old build up of slime in the bottom and this can block the tubes.
The rear washers have their own independent supply so I would suspect blocked front nozzles first.
BTW taking off the wheelarch liners is a doddle and well worth doing if you want to do some spring cleaning etc.

:) Sorted it..... took out the arch liner and stripped out wash motor. Front washer valve blocked one motor does both feeds but a valve between the two splits to front to rear bits of muck in there. Stripped cleaned refitted and working. Thats the good news bad news play in steering rack (wondered what that noise was and alternator/aircon belt needs replacing) Just another job to do......
