Hello All. I own a FIAT Ducato based Motorhome purchased last August (new). Although covered by guarantee and booked in next Tuesday at an agent, I thought I would air my problem and progress to resolution for information purposes only. Couple of weeks ago whilst driving I noticed the 'Air Bag Warning Light' glow dimly eventually going out over a period of time but then re-illuminating as before, however when I had switched the ignition off, the lamp still glowed. Yesterday, whilst driving I noticed that when I turned 'Cruise Control on' at the stalk, the Bub failure Light illuminated together with the Fiat Code Failure Light. Tonight when I isolated the vehicle battery with the button on the Ignition, I noticed that all three of the previously mentioned lights remained dimly illuminated. If any one has any 'bright' ideas I'd be gratefull otherwise I'll leave it to the 'experts' next week.

New instrument binnacle/cluster reqd, speak to fiat dealer and get them to order one for when yours is in,
Mines done it for a year (oil & battery) my dealers had not heard of the issue, but hopefully sorting it next service

Thanks to you and Rolopolo for the info. Without wanting to appear 'all knowing' I'll suggest to the agent's service personnel that they should be loking at a replacement instrument panel.

Regards,

TC

A good dealership would have the decent DET contact you and order in any parts he/she deems required. Sadly dealerships are rarely run this way so expect multiple trips to the garage before they order in and get the correct part, sorry but that is often the reality these days.

Just to let you all know that with the instrument panel replaced everything now appears normal with no 'stray' volts around. I had to wait a couple of weeks for the spare to be delivered to the Agent, the shortage may indicate a 'Fleet' fault.
