06 plate R32, 41,000. DSG Satnav and sunroof, all the toys nothing missing,

12grand!!!

Just had a drive, wow I'm suckered... mate bought it yesterday from Watford Audi. Warrenty included, hell... his insurance is only 500 quid!

Although now I think about it! Brave man taking on a DSG with 4 wheel drive if that goes wrong you can bet they'll try and get out of it! If you blow that up you'll be looking at a bill for about 1/4 of the money he paid for the car. Dads been looking into getting a DSG vag car, and the servicing costs for the box itself are insane.

and think what else you could get for your money with 12grand

V good car, not a personal fan of the DSG and launch control on that box shortens its life somewhat, but there are ways of tuning the haldex coupling to move power around better than standard - I would get the rear light condensation sorted 1st though

i really like them!

think i would rather have the GTi edition 30 though, not much less power but a lot lighter! and you dont have to have the chrome grill then.

rear lights are nice on these though.

a mate of mine has a edition 30. i love it! the fact its a more doors addition kind of lets it down though LOL

its had a few choice engine mods and is covered in silver carbon fiber (car is silver) and is currently running at 333bhp & 335lbft of goodness :yum:

I have been reading with interest, seems opinions are split, but thqat DSG fragility and repair cost would definitely put me off on reflection!

The DSG gearbox is highly dependant on the oil inside - make sure that the gearbox oil and filter were changed at 40,000 miles if not get it done asap
