Hey Guys...really late one as I am really struggling with some sample sound files for my dissertation research.
Basically, I have a sample 44,100Hz 16-Bit PCM wav file that needs converting to various speech codecs. Some of which I can do quite easily, others I am struggling to do.
The codecs are as follows:
G711 - A-Law
G726
G729
iLBC
I have no problem with the conversion to G711 as the codecs are easy to find (think they are actually built into windows actually!!). But I am having big trouble with the others.
Apparantly there is a way of using Asterisk PBX to do these conversions, as all of the above codecs are supported on Asterisk. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to use it!!
Is there anybody on here who could help me out of a tight situation and either point me in the right direction, or do a quick conversion of the 20second sound clip into G726,729 and iLBC?
Cheers in advance
