Technical Virgin ECU

When changing a matching ecu,body computer,ignition barrel,key,ignition ring and door locks. Do you also have to replace the black module ( key reader ) so everything will work ?

you don't have to change the "key reader" as you call it, that's just a piece of plastic with a copper coil winding inside.

Thx. I have now swapped the ecu/body computer etc and had no probs. But it never cured my faulty control panel or heatd rear window faults. Where next ? I'll keep looking.
