General VIN plate

Hi, people. My first ever question. My sister has a Barchetta, which is in France. It was origionally in the UK years before and never had a under bonnet ID tag fitted. Unfortunately that means in France that will not MOT it until it has one. I can get one made but I don't have all the info to go on it.


So 1) What is the homologation number for a Barchetta?
2) What is the number for spares?
3) Would you please confirm I have the other info correct.
Max weight fully laden = 1060
Max train weight = 1710
Max weight front axle = 850
Max weight rear axle = 700
Engine model code = 188A6.000
Body version = 1835B1AA 01

Probably the easiest option would be for someone to post a pick of their plate (maybe with the the VIN part covered)

Hi,


The max laden weight should be 1260 Kg...Everything else looks OK


Mine's a 1999 so has the 183A1 engine etc, and probably a different spare number to you,

Thanks for that. I had to calculate the weights and forgot to add 200 for the ladden.

Would you mind telling me the homologation number and spares number on your plate so I have the full set. I know the spares might be different but I'm sure the homologation should be the same. I doubt the French MOT guys will be taking much notice of the spares number but I'll need the homologation. Thanks again.

That's what I'm after! I only suggested covering the VIN as I didn't want the info getting into the wrong hands.

My sister will be very appreciative of your (and my) efforts, so she can get the car on the road.
