I really couldnt be arsed trying to match an amp/sub and paying quite a bit of money to do it, so I just bought a Vibe active 12" box for 179.99 :) Really pleased with it so far, still playing with it and the headunit to find the right settings. But for the type of music I listen to it sounds great (y)

On the amp there is a 180 and 0 switch and I dont know what it does (Didnt get any instructions for some reason) Please enlighten me if you can!

Also if anyone else has one of these, what settings do you have on the amp? I think there is a level and crossover??

Thanks again

My best thought would be WR that 0 is for when you have it laying flat and 180 for when it is standing up?

i.e. as in degrees.

Like I said cinqy I didnt get any instructions with it :p But what you're saying is its for headunits with no Sub preout? I have a sub-out which its wired up to so the 0/180 switch wouldnt do anything

Or is it for when its flat or upright?! Or whatever Pauls tryin to say lol

No, that was wrong, it wouldn't make much sense anyway lol.

It's about the phase of the output waves. Allows you to get it into phase to prevent destructive interference. If that makes sense then :) If not, say and I will explain a little more.

If you have wired it up correctly then 0, if you have wired it up + to - and - to + then 180 I assume :)

If it sounds crap try it on the other one, you know how it's important to wire speakers the right way so that one doesn't do the opposite to the other? It's like that but means you can just flick the switch.
