General Vents

Hi, I am wondering if someone can help. As you can see I have managed to undo the vents when I was taking my phone holder off them. Does anyone have a video or guidance how to put them back in as I have tried and I'm struggling. Laura

There are ways involving removing bits to get access.
But ..
There are vertical parts either side of the fins to locate so that the middle fin moves all together.

Start at the bottom and use an Allen key to hook a vertical from inside. Then push the first fin back into the vertical. Same other side, and move up one by one.

Allen key as big as gap and decent length for grip. Don't lose it.

I did this on mine as previous owner had done the same as you.

Be patient. Too small a key is hard to grip and have room to push the fin back.

None.

Looking again at your photo and no access to my car.

You will need to push the fins back to get the clip back into the pivot slot.

Looks like only one side is out on passenger side. Do this first and try to connect at the back.
The verticals control the movement of the fins.

Have a wee look with a torch first.

I think they should pop back in,
The top left one, hold the left side inplace with one hand, using your other hand thumb under the center of the flap, bend upwards in the centre and pop back in the right side buy also pushing down with a finger ontop of the sight edge?
