Robbery! :D today I just paid 300€ for insurance and technical inspection of vehicle will be about 150€. it is about 450€. what about in your country? is big difference?

This also depends on your age? and mods... well, i have to pay 450€ no matter what age i am, or what mods are done... they are only checking bumpers, lights, brakes, emissions, steering wheel and that's more/less all.
tomorrow we have Independence Day so i will spend day of cleaning B, and on Thursday is big day... hope everything will be fine on technical inspection.

holly cow, i am broke now. thank good for boost at work, now have 700€ monthly pays... if i have about 1000€ income i will be happy as pig in a basket (very happy).

€350 year comprehensive. Thats with the same crowd (Wrightway) who got a €2500 claim last year after herself stacked it. Helps that I'm mumble-mumble years old, golf club, funny secret society that meets alternate months with an R in it (in a lost cellar, far under a ruined mansion in Co Meath) etc etc...

hm... large differences, i ask some guy in our capital city how much he paid... he paid about 80-90€ more than I, because big city, more traffic - more likely to crash. it looks that there are a loot of factors that increase price (except mods... we do not have this for now)

You're all lucky whatsits, I pay a bit over €800, third party! You can't get fully comp on older cars here.

I'm off for a cry in the corner.........

@LRB - hehehe! Close.....but, not quite! It is an "aprreciating classic" policy through Hegarty; They didn't take my age (39) or NCB into account, you just have to confirm that the B is a second car. Otherwise, the mileage is 5,000 a year limit, not to/from work and a standard £250 XS. I even got a discount for renewing by mentioning I was a member of the FF! If you want contact details, let me know....(y)
