please add your suggestion for mid performance tyre, please only add tyres you have personally used and would use again.
value performance = good performance, good wear , good price.

khumo ku31 ecsta

copy and paste to add to the list
and try to keep it to just a list to make a poll so people can vote.
thanks

not sure if I am in the right thread here but my vote is for goodyear excellence, great wet/ dry/ snow grip, quite compared to std. dumblops, and not too expensive !!!

Accelera Alpha's on the 16vt Coupe 16's were good all rounders, wore well and lasted 22K (change my tyres with 3 mm tread remaining). Paid £178 for 4

Uniroyal 550's on the 16vt Coupe 16's were amazingly good all rounders, quieter, more comfortable and excellent grip especially in the wet but only lasted 18K (change my tyres with 3 mm tread remaining). Paid £230 for 4

Currently running Nankang XR611 Toursports on steel 15's. Coming from the Uniroyals, I expected to be disappointed, but must say that they are supprisingly good for the money in terms of comfort, grip and wear. Seem to be wearing slightly better than the Accelera's. Paid £110 for 4

I do about 22 K a year so invariably have a new set of tyres every 12 months or so... thinking of going for the Nankangs again, if that there e-bay trader near me is still doing 'em when replacement time rolls round!
