oh and as for a suggestion (what the thread was all about) pub it or something similar, nothing too much, esp as it will be for making the peace etc and see how things go, that way it isnt too mushy etc and gives you a comfortable environment (ur a student so if there is summin on tap n shorts ull be happy )

took the other half out last year (second time ever going out with the other half on valentines) and things had been a bit rough for a month or so building up to it, so it was a good chance to sit down and talk it thro. didnt happen, the drink got the better of us both and we ended up going for it hammer and tongs and splitting up there and then. am also banned from the resteraunt now aswell...
moral of the story is to talk before things get worsel resolve the probs as they come up rather than holding off
