There are some unusual usernames here and I was just wondering: why members chose that name to use? .

Mine just came to me in a flash of inspiration :devil:.

Mine just came to me in a flash of inspiration :devil:.

A Muppet in Accy...? Whatever next? Is Kermit living in Oswaldtwistle...?!

Good question, by the way; and I've often wondered the same thing.... 'homeward', because I'm called Ward, and I'm at home. Was also my moniker on CIX in the late 1980s (when I lived in Blackburn...).

When I first started LAN gaming in the early '90's I needed a handle, there was an eclipse the night we set up our first LAN party, so I started out as Eklipze_2k as the millennium was all anyone could take about back then. As the millennium came and went, the 2k part became obsolete so I upgraded

I've always struggled when asked to create a username, then in a glimmer of inspiration, I was born on Portland and the end of the island is the Bill. Sort of stuck with it now, unless I a) can think of another one, b) just use my own name, and c) go through the process of requesting a change. Laziness, I'll stick with it. Although someone suggested "Tangoed", can't think why.
