Technical used cigarette lighter now clock and radio wont work

Yea i let a mate use a fag lighter in my punto (aftermarket one) as i dont actually have 1, it never reallly worked the lighter never got hot enough.
thought nothing of it.
got back in the car about an hour later and realised the clock on the dash had stopped and i can no longer turn my radio on

its a mark1 punto 60s 1999

any help appreciated!
