Can car wax go off

Just gone to wax one of the cars and is been a pig to buff off after, it normally easily wipes off. Been leaving streaks n the car and everything :bang:

The wax tub is near end, so think I may as well chuck it, but can it go off, or could it be something else I'm missing

To much moisture in the air and/or to cold.
Waxing season is just a few more weeks away, I'm afraid..
And wax can get to old, but it has to really old, like 10 years or more...

Was about half 2 this afternoon, so wasn't damp. Didn't think about the temp, was only 6C. Think this could have been it

Dunno, this one says don't use in direct sunlight or apply to hot body surfaces.

I never wax below 10 C.
If you want the car to shine at low temps, use Turtle Wet and Dry Spray Wax, red sqeeze bottle.
Or use Turtle Rinse Wax in warm water after washing.

You are lucky to have Halfords and Asda, they have a huge selection compare to Halfords in my country ( we don't have Asda..)
Everytime I visit the UK, I buy lot's of cleaning/waxing/drying stuff at Halfords etc., so I have enough for two daily drivers for the next 1-2 years....!!

looks like you need a waxing lesson

plenty of microfibre towels if it turns damp when buffing a very light mist of Quick detailing spray (what ever brand you want) then buff up....

fold and turn the MF very regularly

change the Microfibre every couple of panels
