does anyone know how i would get power from the battery to behind the dash of my cinq as i need to get a cable from the battery to the headunit and amp, cheers

if there's room between the arch and wheel its not low enough!

Don't use the thin "guitarstring-thick" cable to drive an external amplifier. That's hazardious. Only to your head unit. To your amp it should be a thick one stretched directly from the battery (through a fuse as near the battery as possible).

was just needin it for the head unit mate got thicker cable with a inline fuse for the amp, got it all sorted tho thanks, used the place you were talking about mckrob installing the amp n sub and gear knob 2moz so hoping the light layer of snow dissapears lol

i used scotch locks (cable splice connector) and tapped into the cables goin to my cigaret lighter for my head unit..worth a look if u got a ciggy lighter

Whats wrong with using the proper cable?

Isnt the cig lighter protected by rated wire and fuse? Adding more draw to that could melt the wire?

got it all wired up now but shock now nothin is workingB) gonna have to go outn play about with the wiring to make sure its all on properly, oh and i used all the proper wiring didnt use any cabling from anything else on the car
