Technical URGENT The Fob and Alarm

How do you sync the fob and alarm in a S reg 98 model fiat marea 20v ELX.

Somthing to do with the tiny button on the right of the electric window. I have no alarm disable key and the alarm is going off while there trying to MOT it. can i disable it. if so any idea what wires i would need to cut on the switch if there is one behind the daash

There is a post on this somewhere, try a forum search.

There should also be a disable switch beside the fuses in the drivers side fuse compartment.

sorry was on mobile internet on my PDA the search thing wasnt working very well. but I worked out if i only use the drivers door and leave the interior light off I can drive it without the alarm going off.

I will have to test the remote tommorow. and then find the switch for whitch i have no key and destroy it.

should be in the drivers side fuse box but on my german import marea it wasnt, i hear they are ment to be on the UK models though i havent checked my new marea!

Sorted its self out. the alarm didnt go off this mnorning when i got into it. mind you I have been pressing buttons and pulling fuses most of the day yesterday.
