Urgent:- Pioneer Head Unit Install Aerial Problem

Hi...

Hoping someone can help me... I'm fitting a new pioneer head unit at the moment (P77MP). All is OK with connections except that the aerial connector doesn't seem to fit. The back of the fiat stero has what looks like a coax type plug on it which the lead comming out of the dash fits neatly into.... whereas the Pioneer has what I can only describe as a 'hole'.... Is there an adaptor that I can buy from halfords or somewhere... or is there something missing on the Pioneer that should be there.... or am I being stupid....

Did you not get the adaptor with it, i had the same problem with mine. You can get an adaptor from motor world or halfords for like 2 quid.

when i transfered my old blaupunkt cd player into my mums car i had exact same problem i had to get a little ariel adaptor from hellfords it was about £4 i think not much more.

but you should have gotten one most radios come with them. worth checking the manual to see the "contents of the box" to see if you should hae had one.
