General URGENT - HELP!

My 1995 Fiat Cinquecento Sporting wont rev over 4,500rpm!

It seems like the rev limiter has been "reset", any ideas????

Try a service - plugs, leads, air filter, fuel filter and you may as well do the oil while you're there.

Will it go over 4500 in neutral?

with the engine OFF, have a glamorous assistant floor the throttle and see if it opens properly under the bonnet.

Centos work best over 4000 revs[8D]

I've got a custom intake and supersprint exhaust, the noise suggests a much bigger engine when you boot it![8D]

A little tip to stop it sounding like a "chainsaw" take the front part of the airfilter box off and drill as many holes in it as you like, put it back on and when you floor it it ROARS!!!! [8D]

erk! doesnt that kinda wreck stuff tho? i might just drill holes in my petrol tank and throw a match at it. get money back that way! My Cinq hasnt been able to go much aove 5k rpm since i bought it.

Cam timing may be off then. They are a pretty free revving motor.

5k rpm u really arn't getting the best expierience with it only going 2 5k rpm 7k now thats fun
