Styling Uprated, legal headlight bulbs

I want to get rid of the yellowness to my headlights, will these bulbs fit ok, run ok and look right?

Yeah there good, I prefer osram night breakers, there's a pic of the in my gp in my members moters thread!

I can vouch for the Osrams as well, fantastic bulbs. If you are after a whiter light the Osrams are the ones to go for. H4 is the fit that you'll want.

The nightbreakers have been known to not last very long compared to the Philips. Especially on cars with DRL etc

im looking to uprate aswell but is it honestly worth the 25 quid?

and i dont really wanner spend that much on bulbs and have them blow in a couple of months

If you drive at night its defiantly worth the upgrade - not just in looks but better bulbs make a considerable difference to the quality and distance of light.

Also worth changing the sidelight bulbs at the same time as they look really yellow compared to nice new headlight bulbs (from experience!).

It's one of the best upgrades you can do on a car,with such a low price.

Light is more close to white and helps a lot more in nightdriving.

Ofcourse you can find other bubls that can produce whiter light (xenon effect) but in very dark conditions and when the road is wet,it blinds you.


Also if you order from powerbulbs they give you free a pair of philips bluevision for the sidelights so you can get rid of the yellow color there too.

the W5W sidelight bulbs they give for free, with the h4 headlight bulbs are the right fitment for the grande punto yeah??

I got my night breakers from eBay. Paid around £12.
Also the lidl bulbs aren't bad

yes, those both fit the GP, I've done it myself

Sidelights are a piece of cake.

The main beam bulbs,it depends on how stiff the connector is...Mine was a PITA to remove the original bulbs...

My drivers side headlight was easy, however the fitting the passenger side bulb nearly made me explode

i had osram nightbreakers but one of the bulbs went a while ago, common issue with them, they dont last long! got some of these recently and theyre even brighter and whiter than the osrams, hopefully will last longer. .

after reading this had a look at

I am also considering uprated headlight bulbs....i think i might try MTEC COSMOS h4 55w.......any one heard anything about these?

i already have MTEC sidelights!!
