Re: Re: Untitled

That was also ment to say "the reason i did NOT buy a fiat bravo"

Someone delete this post, ive made a mess :)

Re: Re: Re: Untitled

I can see your problem straight away. No attention to detail, quality, layout or style. This will be why you chose that dinosaur from the 80's then!

I had a 800 Vitesse in the early 90's and it was outdated then! Did you not have enough money for a Bravo, poor lad, get a paper round and get a car that has some style.

Living up to your name then........

...all the churchgoing coffin dodgers round here think these are great to.

Oh dear.

Shabash!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Untitled

In fact I am going to slate it
1. Why does the trim on the rear bumper have a gap in it - no reason other than cost cutting. Its a design mess

2. Air flow. Its probably pointless having a spoiler on a car thats chassis is this bad anyway, but to have one in that style 50cm after a huge wiperblade has already destroyed the air flow! Its a design mess.

3. Some great forward thinking on the rear valance. I bet they were embarrased when they put the exhaust on and realised they needed to melt it up a bit! A design mess

4. Are those wheel trims?

5. Make sure you get yourself a HUGE oval tail pipe for that fire breathing engine as those lickle exhaust pipes may not cope!

6. Has big brother got a Calibra - the only other car clothed on a dinosaur chasis that is actually worse than this!

I am sorry to be harsh but these cars are awful. I test drove a 2.0 version a while back and was appalled at it. It lovelly for someone retired or Mum for the shopping but it is NOT a drivers car in ANY way what so ever.

I bet the boys at Halfords will love it though!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Untitled

Christian, the fact that you have a rover and that you are posting on a Bravo Forum is already self explainatory.

Listen, I believe Nigel has an HGT up for sale. speak to him.

The Bravo...different day, different sh!t :)

Re: Living up to your name then........

why are you putting pictures of a rover on a FIAT BRAVO/A forum?? do you like getting the **** taken?!?

Re: Re: Living up to your name then........

Hmm, same would happen if i were to post a picture of a bravo on a rover forum.

You all seem to be slagging of the style of the rover coupe. I think even you lot KNOW that the ONLY good point about the bravo is the style. However this doesn't make a good car!!

Re: Re: Re: Living up to your name then........

fcuk the rover. this is a bravo/a forum.
(and you can take that to the bank)

Re: Re: Re: Living up to your name then........

O, lets talk about engines.

The 1.4 12v, don't make me laugh, thats not an engine...

how many problems have you lot had. Perhaps you should visit a rover forum and i think you will realise that we are having next too no problems. The 216 has a honda engine, don't think any of you could dispute that any of the bravos has a better engine than that. :)

Re: Re: Re: Re: Living up to your name then........

It isnt all about engines! The looks of the Bravo.....need I say more.

As Nige once posted

We know that the Fiats have a bad reputation for reliabilty etc compared to other makes from around the world, so why did I buy a Fiat? Well, let me explain.

Let me be sexist for a minute. A car is like a woman.

German Cars, like German Women. Everything in the right place, works all day, shops on the way home, cooks dinner perfectly, clears up and makes your sandwiches for the morning - day after day after day. She has the hips for childbearing and could protect you in a dark alley - BUT, you dont really lust after her do you!

Swedish Cars, like Swedish Women. Reputation isnt everything! The cars are actually more exciting than the women and now have more curves!

British Cars, Like British Women (wheres the noose). Bit of a dodgy past, sedately styled nice to take home to your mum and always makes a great Aunty, but again - does she really make you want her?? There is an exception here to the rule - TVR! Blackpools finest are actually more like Essex Girls - Fantastic for a night, but you dont want to have to live with her!

OK still with me!

French Cars, like French Women. You are never going to understand them or why they look like that, but there is something beginning to stir the emotion, you aint sure what it is but you steer clear just in case!

American Cars, like American Women. You know they are as cavernous inside as they are bloated outside (oooeeer) and could be great fun until you mates found out. And have American cars ever sounded good - you get the odd one or two but the others sound like nails down a blackboard - just like the women!

And now.....

Italian Cars, like Italian Women. You KNOW she is going to be tempremental, you KNOW she will let you down when you least want her to, you KNOW she may even bite you, but you want her, you lust after her because when she wants you she will blow your mind, so you keep going back to her. She looks fantastic and my god your mates are full of envy.

I would like now to apologise to al....nah ********, if you took the wheels off a BMW and looked under the arches you will find they are hirsuite - Iam sure of it!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Living up to your name then........

Quote from the Rover forum:

'Latest Mods'
'Dear Pensioners,
Halfords have a sale on tartan blankets this week. Keep up with the times lads and get one on your parcel shelf, they look mint! There are loads of styles and colours available and I'm sure you can get one to match your interior and your flat cap.'

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Living up to your name then........

Topics from a bravo forum:

"My car won't start

My car runs badly

Ive lost power

Nothing works

My 1.4 12v has had seven rebuilds in its life"

:)

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Living up to your name then........

so why are you on here. why not just leave are forum and go back to the "my rover is a rust bucket forum"

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Living up to your name then........

ENGINES ! PAH!

Compare the 1.6 Rover (Honda) engine in the dinosaur 216 Chassis against the 1.6 Torque Fiat engine in a lightweight chasis designed 10 years later. No contest, the Fiat wins hands down

Compare the 2.0 Rover (built but Barry at Longbridge!) engine in the dinsaur 220 body against the 5 cyclinder 155 BHP 2.0 Fiat engine etc, the Fiat wins hands down

Now if you want to go further, compare the 220 Turbo against the 20VT Coupe engine - have you gone deaf, blind and stupid since you retired and went into Rover ownership.

I said it before the only car worse in its class is the Calibra. I wasnt knocking its style I was knocking its DESIGN - two different things, but being a Rover Coupe owner, you may need to look that up.

IT IS AN AWFUL CAR - I dont even think the numpty's that read lax power could make it worse! Now **** OFF to Halfords and buy that tartan rug.

Class!
Thats another to go in the book of 'Nige's Classic Quotes'

sad

Because he is a sad cock of a man who thinks he has bought a good looking car which is better than the Bravo/Brava. The fact that he has posted a picture a finds amusement by coming on here and talking arse in the first place speaks volumes. Rover? That the name of a dog...
