Technical Uno Newbie

[The Orange]

Hi to all.

I'm a guy from Denmark who just bougt my first Uno.
My parents have had a few when i was young, så I was drawn

I've just got a problem. I dont know witch 1.0 engine it has. How do i see that?
It's a 1990 4 speed.

If it's a 999cc FIRE, the air filter box on top of the engine is rectangular with a plastic catch on each side, and the camshaft cover underneath that is alloy. The oil filler cap is a square rubber plug.

If it's a 903cc, the air filter is round and the engine rocker cover is steel painted black. The oil filler cap is round.

Ok. thx It's rectangular, så its a 999cc.

Is there a difference between the 1.0 FIRE and the 1.0 ie. ?
