Tuning uno gear ratios

hi i drive an uno mk1 in autocross and i need a high ratio for the first gear but it has to be from factory on an uno... last week i opened a gearbox from another uno with first gear 3.58:1 ratio.. this is great for me.. i need to make sure that factory produced this gear ratio on uno or if it is fitted to it from ritmo gearbox or any other model... help if you can please....

Did you google Uno specs to see if you could find out your answer?
Was Haynes any help to you?

i googled it but i'm not sure that i covered all uno models since there are loads of them. the uno i removed the box with this ratio was with a 1.3 sohc engine but i couldn't find it anywhere as from factory.

Uno 70s like my two cars, are 1298 or 1301 cc.
Uno 70SL, still mk 1 from 87 on I believe, are 1300.
Uno 60s is 1100
Uno 60SL (I think) will be 1100.

I think you need a Haynes.

i can't find any ratios for 60s and 60sl. hyperspace 3.91 is what i have on my uno... i need to find if any uno was produced with a 3.58 1st gear..

Hi yes, I just quoted it for elimination as I had it on hand, found a nice 60 AA car test brochure thingy yesterday.

Final gear ratios:
Model 45& 45s-->4.071:1
Model ES-->3.867:1
Model 55 55S & 70S--> 3.733:1

Gears:
1-- 3.909:1
2-- 2.055:1
3-- 1.342:1
4-- 0.964:1
5-- 0.780:1 (45S 0.830:1)
