1990 UNO FIRE 1100. A couple of years ago the car would cut while driving and would not restart. This was solved by replacing the complete distributor. Although it was probably a faulty ECU.
Recently the car starts but as soon as I let my foot off the accelerator, it cuts out. Seem to be a similar fault as before, so I bought a new distributor and that was OK for two weeks. Then the car started to do the same thing again. I found that the vacuum advance module on the new distributor was faulty. Luckily the spares shop replaced it. With the new distributor fitted it is still giving the same problem. I'm thinking now it may be petrol related. Any ideas please?
