Hi all, got a little problem with a 1.0e Start Uno - injection model.

When starting from cold it drives fine - sometimes I may have to give it a little blip on the throttle once or twice in the first minute when idling to stop it stalling but when actually driving its not a problem.

It's when it starts to get warm (temp gauge a couple of mm of the bottom) it will loose power for a few seconds, go real sluggish and putting your foot on the peddle doesnt do anything - like its choking) This is not too bad when your moving as after a few seconds of chugging it works it's way through it and goes back to normal, but if you happen to be trying to pull out from a roundabout or junction its deadly!

After a breif struggle for about 10 seconds, it will be fine for the rest of the journey. If the car does stall, stopping and starting it again cures it like nothing ever happend, once the car is hot it drives like normal and will go fine for hours. Its like when the car switchs over from cold to hot running it gurns out for a few seconds. As i said earlier, when cold its fine and when hot its fine, its just stuggles switching between.

As this cars injection theres nothing I can see in the engine to adjust or fiddle with and the Haynes manual says there's no adjustments that can be made to its running - it's all totally controlled by the ECU.

My girlfriend is now scared to drive it as it's conked out on her a few times on roundabouts whilst trying to pull out, so if anyone out there has an idea or has fixed this problem before it'll be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!
