unfamiliar noise

my 1.2 sx bravos got a weird noise.. theres two noises really.. ones lk a tapping noise, some 1 sed the tappets? which are what lol?
and the other i dont know how to describe.. when i push the clutch down this noise stops? any ideas lol

Just the clutch release baring rattling.
Mine has done it since i baught it. No harm done from it, just anoying ^_^

If the clutch release bearing is begining to click or feel weird under your foot it might be on it's way out.
get it changed (clutch,thrust bearing and pressure plate all together)
As others have found to there cost once a clutch goes it can cost a lot more than just the clutch replacing.
For a 1.2 your only looking at the £100 mark

i have changed my clutch 2 month ago it cost me 55 for the clutch kit and i fitted it my self and i would watch out for that other sound the tappets thing just read the thread engine problems lol this happend to min
