[desperate to fix her]

Hi all please can anyone help me I have a ulysse 2.2 jtd 2005 plate. I brought this car from a trader and on day of collection she went into limp mode and I had a really bad judder through steering wheel the garage kept the car and done the following to fix the problem: was out onto fiat diagnostic machine - showed nothing had wheels balance tracking done still same problem, had new driveshafts fitted also fly wheel and clutch. Trader said was ok and delilvered car to me. had car back 3 weeks now I have vibration through whole car especially at 50mph and 70mph and 3rd 4th 5tg and 6th gear! also engine sounds labored and have black smoke any ideas? please help

could be as simple as a faulty tyre, if they have a bulge in them then that can cause a wobble.
also possible problem with the auxiliary belt, especially the bottom pulley.
Black smoke can be normal on a diesel but the fap is supposed to clean it up. If the turbo has blown then the car would be in limp mode and be very slow!

Is the orange light at the bottom right of the warning display illuminated? Any "risk of particulate filter blocking" messages on the centre screen? Is the car now NOT in "limp" mode? How many miles/km has the car done? When it went into "limp" mode was there a warning light or message? (Sounds like EGR or DPF - but need to know the above first!)

hi thank you for your replies. the car was in limp mode as the fap fluid had been topped up but computer was not reset but this was reset and came out of limp mode. the car had done 106k the turbo kicks in. no warning lights on dash. have spoke to a Italian car specialist and has said may be injector problem? also the computer was rest but not by a fiat dealer so mechanic said it maybe that the computer was not reset with the right commands? have booked it in with this guy for next week fingers crossed it just a computer reset problem
