General Ulysse probs HELP....

I have been very pleased with my Ulysse but recently a couple of problems have arisen!!

The outside temperature is very erratic, more so than the weather. I occasionally get -27 degrees, and similar.(Maybe Fiat have cured global warming!) Where is the sensor? What else could cause the errors/

The heater display doesn't light up. It is only possible to read in dayight. At night it is completely invisible. Is it a bulb or fuse?

What year/model is the vehicle?

I had to replace the bulbs as some had blown, easy job.
Can't help with sensor!

On my 1999 Series 1 and a half, outside temp air sensor is at the bottom of the passenger side door mirror.
