The bus performed without a hitch. 1,400 miles over the 2 weeks. Cruised happily at 80-84 for long stretches of Autoroute and overall still returned a tad over 30 mpg. Quiet and comfortable - what a good choice. We'll be keeping this one :)

Hi,

Nice to see that our old bus is still travelling strong.

Whats the current mileage now?

Good luck for the future with her.

It's over 117,000 miles now. Just fitted new discs and pads and tyres are due to be changed in October. Hope nothing else needs doing for the time being.

The bus has certainly earned its stripes.

103k in Oct 2007? So that means 14,000 miles in less than 10 months - above average when you think about it. Piling on miles at that rate from new, it would have 180,000 plus miles on the clock by now. So, on average, it's actually seeing more use than it has over the last 11 years. But, hey. I've only put 3,250 or so on it since I got it. So the annual mileage might well drop again to around 10,000.

A few cosmetic things to attend to over the winter, including tinted windows and possibly a set of Ulysse alloys from an EL model. :)

When you put it like that, then it is above average.

We put about 30k a year on our cars!

We didn't use the Ulysse that much as we had 60mpg diesel at the same time, so we tended to use that if we didn't need all the seats.
