HELP!!!!!!!!
Just to warn you all - this could go on and on and on and on........
Just over a fortnight ago Warning light came on and warning message (Engine anti-pollution system failure) showed. Took car straight to local garage (Not Fiat Dealer) who ran diagnostics and ony thing they said is that it could be pressure sensor on fuel cap?? Warning Light went off and they said if happened again to take to Fiat.
Week later Warning light appeared with same warning message. Took To Stoneacre Fiat in Cesterfield. They ran diagnostics (3Hours) and said they had located problem (traced to Pressure Sensor - which they fitted) £105.00 !!
Drove vehicle 5minutes down the road and the warning light/message came back on.
Took vehicle back to them and it transpires the diagnostics trace to the pressure sensor was not the only diagnosis - there were two others which Fiat deemed less important (Over Boost Valve and also a Temperature Sensor Fault). Thy re-ran diagnostics and Overboost Valve and Temperature Sensor problems re-occurred. Whilst investigating this they also noticed Glow Plug Shorting to earth and glow plug relay burnt!!
Collected car last night and Fiat Invoice states "Found glow plug relay burnt at contacts and glow plugs shorting to earth requires replacement of glow plug relay and plugs will also require wiring loom checking to glow plugs for damage - replaced all low plugs and control relay. Checked all wiring and repaired as required tested OK"
Paid (£469.00) and drove away. Car driving perfect.
Got 15 minutes down the road and BEEP - warning light back on and anti-pollution message appears!!!!:bang:

Fiat/Stoneacre been to collect car from me today and awaiting their response!!
Feels like someoneis pulling the wool over my eyes.
Anyone had this problem and a quick (and cheap) solution??
Thanks
