General Ulysse 04 rear bike carrier

Does anyone know of a rear bike rack for the Ulysse 2004? I've used search tools which have come up with "no rack for your car". Is there something special above the 2003+ which makes the racks difficult to fit?

I've got no more room on the roof bars.

Tailgate is plastic/fiberglass and to tight to body so not strong enough to support frame and not enough clearance.

If you have a towbar you can get a universal rack that fits on that . not sure how it works but they are for sale on ebay

Are you saying that will limit my options?

Spoke to my mechanic who said best option was a tow bar and rack cause he had encountered problems with plastic/fibeglass tail gate cars having a rack fitted and then the points were it fixed/clipped to the tailgate tearing the points of the body off?!?!?!? bike bouncing down the road ?!??!
He also said this could be down to overloading the rack( who weighs their bike) or a previous repair that the owner is not aware of so the panel is weak at that point! Enough for me not to bother and as most shops could not find anything for the c8 ulysse 807 i thought there must be a reason.

I find it strange that nobody from monitors these forums. They must be a good window into their customers' problems yet they seem content to let people flounder on questions that they must know the answer to.
