General Ultimate leaking aerial solution & Very cool mod

Got sick of the aerial leaking no matter how much i messed about with the washer etc, and a friend of mine ("Ste Homz" on fiatforum) came up with the idea of getting rid, the added bonus is that i still receive radio fine!

Fillered, Steel plate welded underneath to hold filler from just falling out

and you resprayed the whole roof?

about a quarter of it at the front, and buffed it in so you cant really tell where the old finishes and the new starts

Check the aerial connection, on the roof. Unscrew the Roof lamps and you'll find it
Or it is broken in the base. Check the roof for the upper side

Had the same problem. With 15 Euros, bought a new one and fitting is a piece of cake :yum:

What about digital radios?

Do they still need am aerial outside (or one as big).

i guess you would of had to have seen the amount of water it was letting in before you could appreciate whats been done.

im amazed how he still gets the radio fine, i honestly didnt see that one coming.

yeh the only cars that really pull of the shark fin ariels are the current BMW's i think.
