General Uj compatibility

Hi, I have an o6 4x4 and the UK has seized, I believe the bit is called a butterfly by some, it's the cross/x shaped thing in the middle, is the seized bit, my garage took the old one out and I have ordered one but it is very slightly to small, the guy I ordered from swears its not, I have checked and my mechanic has shown me it is. I ordered another one from a different place asking the question if it definitely fits a fiat panda 4x4 06 plate, yes it does, but when I got it, it was the same size as the one before, I replaced the whole propshaft 2 yes ago with no problem, a 2nd hand one of the internet. So my question is did they send me a wrong propshaft that is still compatible to a fiat panda 4x4 06, are they interchangeable? And I have one for a different model. This is very vexing as driving as a 2 wheel drive just feels so wrong, like one of those dogs who have lost the use of their back legs and their owner made trolley so they can pull themselves around. If anyone can help I would be very grateful.

First off I don't know 100%

I was my understanding that all the prop shafts were the same even post 2012

There has been several different parts numbers, which means either it's been modified or there's been different suppliers

How interchangable the parts are I don't know

Ah right thanks for the quick response,, yeah different manufacturers or suppliers could be the reason
